ORDERING YOUR COMMISSION AND PRICE LIST

I use the finest quality materials with the highest lightfastness for all my drawings to ensure they last for many years to come.

I use a range of pencils for my portraits including, the Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran D'Ache Luminance, Caran D'Ache Pablo and Derwent Drawing.

If you would like to book a portrait drawn to a larger size and/or with more subjects than what is offered on the price list, then please contact me for a quote.

SIZES AND PRICES

Firstly, you will need to choose a portrait size. It is worth thinking about where the portrait will be displayed as to which size you select.

The details of the portrait will be discussed before I begin drawing to ensure it is exactly how you would like it.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, via bank transfer and this will secure your place on my waiting list.

The remaining payment is made upon completion of the portrait and when you are fully happy with it.

REFERENCE PHOTOS

Next you will need a high quality photo of your pet. Natural lighting is always best for this, for example by a window or preferably outdoors with no direct sunlight. It is very important that I can see your pets eyes clearly.

The better the photos the better the drawing will be!

I use one main photo to draw from but it always helps if you can send me a variation of photos with different poses, lighting and facial expressions as this helps to capture your pets character! If you have a favourite image you can let me know! Hearing your pets personalities and stories always help bring your portrait to life!

It is best to send photos via email and it needs to be the original image rather than screenshots or photos that have been sent through apps as this degrades the quality.

If you're unsure whether your photos are suitable feel free to email me the ones you have so I can check for you. I understand that some of your pets are sadly no longer with us so in this case I will do my best to work with the photos you have.

Please refer to these images as guidance when taking your own photographs.

BOOK IN YOUR PORTRAIT

Once you have chosen your portrait size and gathered a selection of photographs the next step is to contact me, either via the contact page, email or you can message me on Instagram or Facebook.

Please bear in mind that there may be a waiting list. So if you have a timeframe then this can be discussed upon booking and I will do my best to accommodate.

Your booking will be confirmed when the 25% non-refundable deposit is taken. I will then contact you closer to the time of starting your portrait to confirm the size and photo that I will be working from.

You can then decide whether I provide you with progress photos along the way of your drawing coming together or whether you want to wait to see the finished piece.

Drawings can take anywhere between 6 - 20+ hours to complete depending on the size and subject so please allow 2 weeks for the portrait to arrive with you.
