About Me

My name is Alice and I specialise in highly detailed coloured pencil drawings of pets and wildlife. I have always had a love for art from an early age, I pursued Art throughout school, and then I decided to take my learning further at College by taking a Fine Art course. 

Over the past year I have learnt to appreciate the slow, mindful process of coloured pencils, which very much reminds me of my younger self. As whenever I would pick up my pencils or a paintbrush, I would always want to pay particular attention to the finer details, which was always very time consuming but it felt extremely rewarding and that is what I loved about it. Art has always been an escape for me even as young girl I enjoyed the process of creating something from nothing and that there was no particular right or wrong in art which is what drew me to continuing my journey.

My professional art journey began when a friend asked if I could draw their beautiful dog. I soon realised that this was something I really loved doing, creating one off drawings that had a special meaning behind them. Since then I have constantly been trying to perfect my craft whilst taking commissions. I'm so grateful that I have had the pleasure of bringing your furry friends to life on paper. I am always looking to improve my skills and learn from fellow artists to ensure I can achieve the best likeness possible of your pets. I'm so thankful that I get to bring my love for drawing and animals together everyday.
